For those who don't know who Mr Joe Barton is ...Aside from being a congressman representing the state of Texas, he is the highest-ranking Republican on the Energy and Commerce Committee, a firm conservative who has a long record of backing oil industry interests, and the politician that has recieved the most campain contributions from the oil industry since 1990.....
Vice President Joe Biden calls Congressman Joe Barton's statements about the BP escrow fund and his apology to BP CEO Tony Hayward as "incredibly insensitive" and "incredibly out of touch" in response to a reporter's question at a White House Press Briefing.
